Hello,
I accidentally ignored a device and I can't seem to find a way to restore it.
I checked the vhui.ini file to see if I could edit it to remove the "ignored devices" section, but there seems to be no such section in this file. What am I missing here? There must be some way to bring back the device.
You have to stop the server,
You have to stop the server, edit the server config.ini file and then remove that item from the IgnoredDevices line then restart the server.
At the moment there is no way to unignore from the client...
Thanks for your reply.

It's a server side config.ini
It's a server side config.ini. You are looking at the client vhui.ini instead.
Thanks for the fast reply
Thanks for the fast reply Michael
Sorry, I'm still confused. Is the server side ini found in the same location?
I'm using an Xbox controller on a steam link if that makes any difference.
.
I dont know how valve have setup the steamlink with virtualhere. I think you will need to reinstall the beta firmware and i think that will clear the settings. I better include the unignore feature towards the top of my TODO list :)
reinstalling the beta
reinstalling the beta firmware didnt take care of it, but a system reset did.
thanks
