Guardant II dongle

OMNIkey dongle wont work. Plan to buy unlimited lic but seems to be early. Pls , make it works?
Replugged, restart server and client - no result.

ok i think you need to have the server on a real pc and not inside a vm, the reason is the vm sometimes doesnt properly pass through usb devices. I sometimes see this with vmware.

Regular USB flash works fine, but this dongle not. I even find other ppl have troubles with Guardant II keys. Pls interract with me ) I need it.

That error is occuring because the dongle is not responding to a standard GET DESCRIPTOR request. Therefore it cannot be enumerated by virtualhere, im not sure what else can be done, it looks like that dongle wont work...

If there any hope to see it works? It need to license some shit-soft license that dont support license server..kinda old software.

i dont have that dongle so i cannot test and see. But my guess is that they have told the dongle only to respond to certain messages once and ignore any further requests.

Do you have a linux machine? If so install virtualhere server on that and then add ClaimPorts=1 to the config.ini file and then plug in the dongle into the linux server and try using on the windows client vm

Michael, i now try to do next: install Guardant driver on physycal machine and get another one usb device:

May be i should bind smartcard AND this second device? But i cant check it - lic only for one device. May be you can give me temporary lic for 2 devicies? If it will works - we plan to by unlim lic and may be several.

Internet works, i can download vhsd_smartcardreader.sys, but i dont nkow how to install in manually

What version of the server are you using? This bug should be fixed in latest version 3.1.7

OK found the bug, can you download version 3.1.9 of the virtualhere windows server and it should now be fixed.
