iLok2 and Odroid-C2

Hello Michael,

I'm usign VH for quite some time now to serve 4 Dongles. I switched to an odroid-C2 after I accidentally broke the LAN connector of my RPi B+. Everything works fine except the iLok2. I'm 100% sure that it worked on the RPi and it also works fine with a BananaPi. I know that I have to powecycle the iLok before I bind it to another computer, thats no problem in this case.
The Exception I get reads "Failure reading data from an iLok". The iLok Licence Manager is showing the Device but the "Space Used on iLok"-display is missing and Synchronization fails. All of that works using a BananaPi or RPi.

These are the platforms I tried:

  • Odroid C2: Ubuntu 16.04, Kernel 3.14.79-89 -> iLok2 doesn't work
  • Raspberry Pi B+: Raspbian, Kernel 4.1.19+ -> iLok2 works
  • BananaPi: Lubuntu 14.04, Kernel 3.4.112 (not sure about the kernel, its not my device) -> iLok2 works

    Please let me know if you got any ideas about how I could try to solve this.
    Thanks a lot :)

    Best wishes,
    Valentin

    The odroid c kernels are pretty buggy. I tried mine yesterday on my c1 and a webcam that works everywhere else wont work on the c1 via virtualhere.

    I think you will need to use something else besides the c2 until the kernel stabilises in a 4.x version

    Thank you for the quick answer. I guess I'll wait or try alternative kernels for the C2. Apart from this I really like the board. My printer/scanner that only worked without using SSL on my RPi works very well (also with SSL enabled) on the C2!
