HP PSC 1400 wont get recognized properly

I'm running 10.9.4 with a raspberry pi (model B) and latest raspbian. I've a HP PSC 1400 Series Printer connected to the Pi with powered usb hub, which works properly with CUPS and all that stuff. When trying to make the printer available to Mac OS X for the first time, my computer immediately crashed and rebooted. The second time the device connect but still isnt available for Mac OS X.

Could you try the following

Open the osx command terminal and type :

sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel

then type

sudo kextcache -system-caches

Then reboot and see if that fixes the issue. if not perhaps if you could send your ip details i will remotely connect with my client. mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com) and debug that way
