Support for Virtual Environment

Hi

Does VirtualHere support virtualised environment such as VMware and HyperV? I tested it with:
1) Normal flash drive: the connection will reset when I attempt to copy an .exe to the flash drive.
2) Secure flash drive: the connection will reset when the protected drive is mounted after authenticating successfully.

Both issues have the same error; "handleReadHeader error An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

Hi Wilson, Do you have a firewall in your setup? It should work with virtualised environments (i use them all the time when developing the virtualhere software). Im thinking there is a firewall in the vmware configuration or hyperv that is cutting the connection.

Hi Michael

The firewall have been disabled already. It works for images and text documents but not for executable. Will perform more tests. I am testing with vmworkstation and hyperv using win 7 x86 and x64.
