Virtualhere used to work fine on multiple different laptops, networks, virtual machines and usb devices. But now it just doesn't work anymore; I feel like I have tried everything:
- reinstalled bonjour on all machines, both host and client machines.
- updated virtualhere server and client.
- tried running on server from multiple different laptops and desktop pc's and the client also from different pc's. Tried connecting different usb devices.
- tried specifying hubs with the host machines ip adress.
- tried specifying hubs with the virtualhere servers easyfind adress from the config.ini file.
The virtualhere client never get's past the "Connecting to USB hub..." part. After a few minutes that text disappears and Im left with just "USB hubs" in the client window but no hubs are showing.
Im using windows10 64bit

I found out the problem ( I think). After reinstalling bonjour it was no longer allowed in windows firewall for Private networks. So I checked the box for private networks and restarted my pc's. However it was not fixed yet, nothing improved. So I took a shower for 20 minutes, when I came back Virtualhere, on the client machine, said it had to install drivers and now it can see the hub. This repeated itself on all client machines I did these steps on. very very weird in my opinion. But at least it works now it seems!
