thanks for the clarification. It would be helpful to have that info either in the changelog (e.g. - dropped support for TP-Link hardware) or on the hardware overview page. I absolutely understand the decision to focus on newer hardware especially when it already comes with full OpenWrt support and is easily hackable.
If however "not being sold anymore" is really the reason for dropping the TP-Link support, I have to disagree with the decision. In Germany, 44 retailers offer new MR 3020 devices (see https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/3076588_-tl-mr3020…). The 3040 in contrast was never widely available here and right now I couldn't find any place to buy it.
OK it's fine ,please concentrate on newer devices .. But Atleast provide link for the firmware of those devices ...it would be helpful for peoples who already own such devices..
Sure 3020 is still for sale but its V3 now, some old stock might be still V1 but there is no cloudhub firmware for V3 so i dont want to confuse as to the support.
V1 firmware has worked fine for a long time so "support" isnt really needed anymore
OK... The link for the firmware is enough... May be like legacy segment... Support I don't want... Because I have four of such devices... I will buy the latest hardware soon... But for the time being I will use these devices... Thank you... Please do the needful..
.
That is correct, i have removed the firmware for these routers because they are not sold anymore
