BT dongle

I'm using a Nvidia Shield TV and want to use my BT dongle to work on my Shadow PC. All other dongles and USB work fine but my Bluetooth dongle is identified in control panel but it's having error 10 code. I have installed and updated drivers on my VM PC but can't get it installed correctly. Tested on another PC and the dongle is working.

I get the yellow symbol in control panel. So the device is recognised but not operating.

The dongle is a Broadcom one. ASUS BT400

I have disabled Bluetooth with an app on my Nvidia Shield TV so it is not conflicting with the Bluetooth I want to install on my shadow. Can you please help me?

OK do this

In the virtualhere client, right click on the dongle and select Custom Event Handler... and then enter

onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=

Then press OK. Unplug and replug your dongle, now try to use it via virtualhere

Thanks Michael. I'll try it but I don't think it will work. I'm thinking about sending this new dongle back to Amazon. I think it's a Windows 10 driver issue. Are there any cheap USB dongles that you recommend with android and virtualhere? Thanks.

Sure, I use a https://www.belkin.com/us/support-product?pid=01t80000003hgu9aac for testing pass-through of a usb blueooth dongle via the VirtualHere on my Shield TV running the VirtualHere android app.

Note that when i pass the dongle from my sheild tv to my client pc laptop i need to disable the built-in bluetooth adapter in my laptop first by opening Device Manager and right clicking on the Intel Bluetooth Adapter and clicking "Disable" otherwise when i later pass through the belkin adapter i get error 10 driver cannot load. Its because windows cannot seem to handle two bluetooth adapters at once.

Thanks again. I've sorted it out now but going a totally different route to a normal Bluetooth adapter. I'm using a mayflash ns magic dongle that is designed for Nintendo switch and PC. It doesn't work on android on my Shield TV natively but through Virtualhere on my android server from Shield to shadow cloud PC it works great. Although I have it set up using steam input config. I have basically got a DS4 controller working with rumble and using gyro to help with aim with no noticeable input lag.
Having the PS4 controller have gyro was the main reason I was trying Bluetooth. Thanks again.
