2. Start your VirtualHere Client -> Right Click USB Hubs -> License... -> Copy to Clipboard
3. Paste in here:
4. Click (to pay using PayPal or Credit Card. Put a note in the "Note to Seller" field requesting an invoice, if you require one)
5. After purchasing you will immediately receive an email containing your registration key.
When I get to step 2, the field is empty so nothing gets copied.
I am running version 3.4.2 under Windows XP.

You need to be able to see the server in the client, once the server is available the license is known and can be copied in step 2

I would like to purchase a server license to run on my Raspberry Pi3, what does one do if the SD card becomes corrupt or goes bad? Should I keep a backup of the config.ini file off site?

The config.ini is not that
The config.ini is not that important, it just contains a few entries, you can copy that to your pc and it should be fine as a backup. The license is linked to the hardware, not the sd card so it doesnt matter if the sd card changes.
