"adb devices" do not show Android devices (Linux Server)

"adb devices" from VirtualHere client hosts do not show Android devices connected to a Linux server.

Linux server being used is 3.9.8 / "VirtualHere USB Server for Linux (AMD64)".
Server OS is Ubuntu 16.04, and the issue happens regardless of client OS (be it Windows or Linux).
Other USB devices like USB mass storage works fine.

Is there something I can try?

Works fine for me (tested just then via my pixel xl and virtualhere). I have a lot of customers who virtualhere for this feature so i think the issue is your side, you might need to double check you have given permission to access usb on the client pc on the actual phone.
