Hello!

My name is Juliana. We are from Brazil. I work at Luxfacta - IT Solutions.

We have ordered a license for Virtual Here Server.

When we start to share our USB camera (Logitech c920) the screen that mirrors the camera in the other pc closes immediately.

How can this problem be solved?

.
Are you trying to use the camera in two aces at once? you cannot do that
Screen that mirrors the camera in the other pc closes immediatel
Yes, Michael. What I am trying to do is watch the camera in two computers at once. The first computer is connected to the camera and the second it is accessing the shared USB through VirtualHere. Is it possible?
.
You can't use a USB device in two places at once

What we are trying to do is to show the camera just in one computer (not in two simultaneously), the idea is to connect the USB CAM on the PC1 (virtual here server) and use the USB CAM on the PC 2 (using virtual here client). Can you help us once again?
.
Sure that should work fine then. I have a c920 and test with that regularly.
1. Plug the camera into the virtualhere server
2. On the other client right click on the camera and select "Use"
3. Run your webcam software on the client pc and then select the camera.
It should work ok then.
What software is closing? And what machine is that software on, the client or the server?

The above steps we have already tested before. Is there any difference using wifi or cable? Is there any log file in Virtual Here?
.
1. What "software" is closing?
2. Where is this software running, the client or the server?

We have got Virtual Here working with Skype but with screen tearing all the time. The image is awful. We cannot use this resource in our company for webconferences. What can we do to solve this problem?

Its probably your network latency. (Im you asking different questions to try to narrow down the issue)
For webcams you should use ethernet not wifi as wifi latency is usually too variable or too high. You should just use ethernet cable for the network connection if possible between client and server. You can see the latency of the link in the client by right clicking on the server->Properties->Latency and looking at the graph. What does it show? The latency should be in the 5-10ms range and consistent with no spikes for webcams.
The server also needs to be reasonable powerful because sending webcam data can use a lot of cpu.
Also if you cant change your environment much then you would need to reduce the resolution of the webcam in order to reduce the hardware/network requirements to transmit the signal.
If find webcams work pretty well if you use e.g a pi4 and windows 10. Other combinations will also work
