The address of Windows 10 Server is not fixed

We found the following issues after purchasing the license:

1. The operating system of the server is windows 10.
2. Insert several different USB devices into the same port in turn, and the address seen on the cilent side is different.
3. But using linux as the server does not have such a problem.

Our current application needs to enable “Auto-Use Port”, but the above problem will cause “Auto-Use Port” to be enabled for each different USB device, which is not friendly to our coursework.

Is there any way to rule out this problem?

In windows there is no concept of a fixed device address, so i make one up which is linked to the hardware id of the device. E.g see the server config.ini it shows the mappings in there.

If you auto-use the port then whatever device you put into the port then it will be auto-used? Is that not what you are seeing?

If you want to auto-use a particular device, just auto-Use Device or even just Auto-Use Device/Port

2. Put several different USB devices into the same port in turn, and the address seen on the cilent side is different.

Because the USB device will have a different address, the client cannot "Auto-Use Port".

For different models of USB devices, you must enable "Auto-Use Port" once to work properly.

Is there any way to do this, just enable "Auto-Use Port" once and apply to any device put into this port?

Actually yes thinking about this more that is the case! I think you will need to use linux for the auto-use port to work when swapping devices.
