We have an issue with the VirtualHere client on our HP towers and laptops running Windows 10. The issues that users are reporting is that USB devices that are connected randomly disconnect and USB ports do not recognize new devices plugged in as the ports seem to be non-operational, A reboot is necessary to reset the USB subsystem. The problems persist once VH subsystem is running.
If VirtualHere is uninstalled, USB behavior returns to normal. Investigation so far points to an anomaly in the Intel USB driver in Windows 10 that VirtualHere somehow exploits, This is a serious issue with our organization as we depend on our dongle server for a large number of users and we depend on USB ports being up and stable. VirtualHere seems to be the trigger that starts the USB issues we are seeing.
Help is desperately needed.

It sounds like it is related. I'm working with HP on this and they said it was the Intel driver.
