Keep getting "There Was An Error Using This Device" on Client. Help!

Running the latest server/client in an attempt to use SteelSeries Arctis 7 headphones.

I have an old pair of Logitech 930 headphones that work 95% of the time on VirtualHere (sometimes get the same error above but random restarts usually solve it).

This new pair of headphones, however, won't connect no matter what I do.

Both boxes running Windows 10 fully patched.

How do I go about troubleshooting this?

Thanks for any advice as I try to keep the kids occupied during lock-down. :)

Ok... this is weird.

I saw this thread from a few days ago (https://www.virtualhere.com/content/error-use-device) and saw Michael's recommendation to download a version of the server in the link. I did, but saw it was the same version I am currently running (4.1.5).

But I ran it anyways... and it works!

Not sure why, but the version in the link work even though it is the same version number as the one I downloaded from the main download link.

Either way... my kids and I thank you!

Yes that is a new beta build im working on to fix this problem. Ill release the final build in a week or two which will also improve sound from audio devices like you are using
