Error sharing webcam from OSX to OSX

Greetings,

Im glad to have stumbled across this solution it seemed to be exactly what I needed for my use case but I seem to be getting "There was a error using this device." when attempting to use a webcam from a host osx to a client osx. On the server, here is the server log outlining the error

No it probably wont work because the osx client/server is not being actively developed by me anymore. Apple has broken too many things and is too developer hostile now.
