Cannot share USB device

<p>I cannot share a USB device with the following error:

<p>This is a virtualized environment and the USB device works fine otherwise. What's the issue?</p>

You are trying to use it on windows 7 which is not supported.

Is the server running directly in windows 10 or is the server running inside a VM?

No you cannot run the server in a vm

The funny thing is: in another Windows 10 VM (on another VHost) it work. But I cannot attach USB devices there, unfortunately.

Yeah thats why i dont support running the server inside a VM. It is not reliable. (The client inside a VM is fine. )

The server needs direct access to hardware and wont be reliable with a hypervisor in the middle.

Ok, I'll have to add some RaspberryPi stuff to my setup then.
