Hello,
I am considering purchasing this product. However, I have a few questions.
First, I saw in an older thread that there are no floating licenses available. Is this still the case?
Second, I understand this product is your main source of income, but I as a non-commercial user:
Do I have to buy a license for each platform (Windows, Linux, Android) or can I move one license to the other? (1 device at a time)
Thanks
What about if I sign up for
What about if I sign up for the easy find subscription? Can you move the license there?
.
Its very simple, each server requires a license to be purchased for it. There is no license included with the easyfind subscription and no floating licenses

Hi,
This brings up a question: So if I purchase a server license for my raspberry pi and it dies for whatever reason, how do I then install the software on a new device? Surely you don't expect people to buy a new software license after every hardware mishap? I must be missing something...
.
Virtualhere is licensed per server so if your pi breaks yes you need a new license.
Along the same lines... If
Along the same lines... If the server is reinstalled, upgrading the OS, downgrading, new image, on the same hardware, will it need a new license?
.
No you dont need a new license, you can change the sd card/os etc and the license will still work. Just if the PCB changes then a new license is needed.
