Mayflash dolphin bar + steam link android + steam shortcut disconnects wiimoted disconnects

Hi,
I would like to ask if anyone could help me with something. I installed virtualhere server on an nvidia shield and the client on a windows 10 PC. I have the Steam Link app installed to play remotely my games on the Windows PC. I'm trying to play Wii games through the Dolphin emulator. I have connected the Mayflash dolphin bar to the Shield and connected a wiimote to the bar through its bluetooth. After connecting to the PC through Steam Link, I start a wii game through a shortcut in Steam. Once the game starts, the emulator connects the wiimote and all works but like a minute later it disconnects and then reconnects after some seconds.
The weird thing is that, if I connect to the PC through Steam Link but then, using a keyboard/mouse, I start the game directly without the Steam shortcut, it works fine. So I'd say there is something that causes issues when launching games through Steam.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

My best guess is that its a radio reception issue. If you have a long USB cable, plug that into the shield then plug the end into a USB hub then plug your USB devices into the hub so that they are as far away as possible from the shield. And then see if that helps

The Mayflash bar has a cable so you can attach it wherever you want. I currently have it on top of the TV while the rests Shield underneath it. Isn't that enough separation?
Yesterday I was able to run another test and I realised, if I played with Xbox One controller connected via bluetooth (Shield bluetooth, not the bar bluetooth) next to me, I always had the issue. Once I disconnected the controller it seemed like the wiimote worked. But then later I tested it again with nothing connected by bluetooth to the shield and the issue started again. The only things I had next to me were my phone and my wife's. So I'm not sure, maybe the problem comes from the signal as you mentioned but if that's the problem that would be quite difficult to fix.

From past experience if you get dropouts after a while then its because there are too many radios next to each other (wifi radio/bluetooth radio/tv etc) that why i suggest separating the shield from the reset of the radio devices if possible and use ethernet for the sheild not wifi

I've finally got the time to test things out. I tried the two things you mentioned:
1 - I connected an USB 3.0 hub with 4 ports to the Shield and the Mayflash Bar to the hub so there is some space between them (and in the case of the shield a shelf between them). I still had constant disconnections. It was easy to see as the VirtualHere client on the PC showed how the Mayflash adapter constantly showed up and disappeared. I even got the Windows sound of devices connecting and disconnecting.
2 - I connected the Shield via a cable. In my case I have 2 routers, the main one and an access point. The shield is connected to the main router while the PC connects to the access point. After doing this, the Mayflash adapter won't show anymore on PC. I tried restarting both the PC and the Shield. On the Shield, I can see the VirtualHere app on the Steam Link app and the Mayflash adapter as a device on 'Shared' mode.
By the way, on the VirtualHere android app, I've never seen a device in the list. There is a white screen saying devices connected should appear here but that's not the case. I get notifications every time a device is connected asking to let VirtualHere control it though.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Well, apparently it had something to do with the network. I just connected both Shield and PC to the same router and it works fine now. It's not the ideal setup in my case but it proves that it can work.

Yes its just too many radios around the same area i think
