Windows 10 Server Crashes on Startup

I have tried both the 32 and 64 bit files of the free trial and both seem to crash right away. I found the following in the event log.

Ive never seen this before. Are you using some anti-virus program that might be blocking virtualhere?

Thanks - that was it. I thought about that, and turned off the Bit Defender firewall, but I had to add an explicit exception into the program to let it through.

Guido, can you share your explicit exception details?

I have the same problem, same error, also Windows 10 with BitDefender. I added a firewall rule to allow any/all for the vhusbwin64.exe executable. I also turned on the BitDefender "Alert mode". On first launch after turning on "Alert mode" BitDefender prompted and I selected "Allow" but then VirtualHere crashed with the same error as above, again. It no longer prompts but continues to crash on launch. I've also tried disabling the BitDefender firewall but it still crashes on launch.

OK, I used -b to install as a service and then got a Windows Firewall prompt to allow access. After adding the firewall rule on Windows Firewall as well as BitDefender it is working.

Spoke to soon. It's crashing as a service as well. All firewalls disabled and I still get:
