Good evening,
I have downloaded the latest VirtualHere server then drag-and-dropped the app into the applications folder.
Surprisingly, when launch the app from the applications folder, it launches an installation process for "osxsdriver" (instead of running the server like I was expecting).
After proceeding with the installation, nothing happens and I do not know how to launch the server.
Could you please let me know what to do next?
config :
- 2019 intel macbook pro
- macos big sur 11.2.2 (20D80)
Thank you very much !
.
There is a bug in osx, its mean to have a popup saying "Approve driver..." but it doesnt show sometimes. Turn off sip then try running the server again https://developer.apple.com/documentation/security/disabling_and_enabliā¦
Thank you very much Michael.
Thank you very much Michael. That worked !
I have a follow up question, if I may.
I have a joystick that is only recognized by windows. If I connect it to my mac, will virtualhere server be able to transmit it to my remote windows machine ?
(I would have tried it myself, but I'm having trouble setting up the VPN between my mac and the windows machine. If VirtualHere cannot work with devices that the OS does not recognize, i will install windows with bootcamp and use virtualhere server there.)
.
Yes it will very likely work between windows and mac
