Hi,
I bought the virtual here steam link app yesterday. I installed virtualhere on my Galaxy Tab S+7 Android tablet where steam link is already running on. When connecting a Saitek joystick to my tablet and starting up the steam link app to connect to my PC I do not see any virtualhere option in the steamlink settings on my tablet. The joystick is not working via steam link either then.
What am I doing wrong? I also installed virtualhere on my PC afterwards and ran it but no change. Restarted both the tablet and steam on Windows but no change either.
Please note I am using the steam link *app*, not that hardware box version.
Thanks,
Landorin

I don't believe that the mobile app versions of Steam Link support VirtualHere... Only the OG Steamlink box and Raspberry Pi versions seem to.
.
I think you might be right! I'll check with valve now, it used to work fine, maybe they have broken something in a steamlink update when they detect virtualhere...
.
OK I checked with valve and they will fix this in the next release of the steam link app for Android. It ended up being a permission change to android...
Thanks a lot guys!!
Thanks a lot guys!!
Issue Tracker/Work-Around
I added comment to issue Tracker, hopefully Google will address this pass through issue with KB+M. I did find a workaround on my Nvidia Shield using SteamLink. Keep your devices physically disconnected on client device until your streaming software is connected to the target machine that has virtual here server running. Connecting my USB hub after the SteamLink connection was made with KB/M and wireless headset attached all passed through to the host correctly. I could verify this through the increased responsiveness of the mouse, windows shortcuts working on KB, as well as RGB functionality resumed. The Virtual here server dialog also showed (in use by you) and listed all three devices. Hope this helps someone out.

Thanks for posting the workaround!
