So I have Virtualhere server running on Win8, and an astronomy camera connected to it as well as a GPS mouse.
1. On Vhere windows client machine, I can see both instances appear (one for GPS mouse and one for the camera).
2. However, I can't access the camera with the relevant software. Investigating with basic steps, I find there is a triangle with a yellow asterisk against the Vhere device for the camera in Device manager.
3. This is not the case for the GPS mouse. It has been recognized and allocated a com port.
Without taking up your time how do I investigate this?
When the camera is connected and used with the app directly in either server or client the camera is recognized by the app w/o any issues.
The camera in question is a Lodestar from SXCCD.com the link for the driver download is https://www.sxccd.com/support/resources/
it's this bit here.
LATEST SX CAMERA DRIVERS
Current Version Signed drivers for 32 and 64 bit Windows 7,8 and 10 (version 1.3.8.0) N.B. Do not use with Windows XP!
Also as a side, I can't see the license bit on the server. I can see it on the client side! This is not important that much as the software works. This is different to how you describe it on your web site.
Please help.
Thanks and regards,
Nalin.
