Did you perform any kind of performance testing on different platforms (Cortext A7/8/9, MIPS, Intel Atom, etc - only within SCB like devices) ?
What is the bottleneck CPU iterations caused by USB or network (on SCB with Gigabit Ethernet)?
Thinking what is the best platform to be used as a remote USB key device (SCB) to share different USB devices over Gigabit Ethernet?

The bottleneck is usually in the CPU when it compresses the USB traffic. However if you turn off compression you will get significantly decreased performance as network latency then becomes more of an issue. So essentially the faster the cpu the better
