USB Key shows up but won't mount

Forums

Running the server on a pi3, with an ilok and USB key with my waves license on it, so I can run swap all my audio software licenses between machines. I was running it on a pi2, but was never able to get power switching to work so i would need to manually unplug the ilok when switching machines, but both the ilok and waves license worked great. Moving to the pi3 the ilok power switching works perfectly now, but the usb key with my waves license on it shows up in the client, but when i "use" it, it does not mount on my machines.

Aimtrak light gun - absolute mode compatibility

Forums

i'm using a licensed pi3 optimized server to run various controllers to my win10 PC client. The majority are running fine.
Ultimarc's Aimtrak lightgun is giving me trouble, however. it is registered in the client software, and appears as both a HID mouse in device manager, and as a controller in the windows gamepad manager.
The gun works as a mouse, but doesn't move the pointer when connected via vh, and it's buttons are not being registered as mouse clicks.
I've read that it works in absolute mode.
can you offer any suggestions for getting it working?

PPA

Forums

Just wondering if there are any plans to make the various versions available via PPA? We deploy to a number of different devices and it would dramatically simplify our build process.

Mouse drifts with steam link

Forums

I have noticed that, whilst connected via SteamLink with virtualhere for steam link, everytime I press (on a USB Nintendo 64 clone pad) down on the right yellow dpad, mouse starts to drift up.

If I disconnect and reconnect the issue disappears until I use the key again.

Also weirdly, Start button seems to send "esc" key.

VirtualHere USB Server NAS QNAP TS-251+

Forums

Hi guys,
im currently testing VirtualHere to use my DVB-C Usb Tuner on my QNAP TS-251+.
Im using VirtualHere because it seems that the QNAP Usb passthrough is "badly" implemented and im getting stuttering and glitches and audio cracks when using it.
With VirtualHere it works very good so far. No glitches etc.
I installed the server from here
https://virtualhere.com/nas ( VirtualHere QPKG App )
The license said that i can use 1 device in the trial for free for 10 days.

RaspberryPi Model B + NitroKey HSM

Forums

Hi there,

I'm currently trialing out VirtualHere, and comparing it to other devices such as the Lantronix USB-to-Ethernet device. And if it does eventually actually start working properly. Would more than happily purchase your software.

However, I'm currently running into the following problem. My device, although is seen on the Client, and connects according the client. However, according to the system. It appears as though no device has been connected.

It this a limitation of the trial software?

Virtualhere server in OpenWRT via package manager, possible?

Forums

Hi!
For some personal project I would need to know if it's possible to have Virtualhere server integrated into OpenWRT firmware, maybe throught integrated package manager?
I know that cloudhub is a fork from OpenWRT with VirtualHere server, but some features are missing and I need them, so for me, the best would be to have a full OpenWRT 15.04 with full support for VirtualHere server.

Thanks!

Saitek Pro Flight Pedals

Forums

Hi Support,

I have experienced trouble when connecting Saitek Pro Flight Pedals to VirtualHere over Steam Link. While other Saitek controllers (Pro Flight Yoke, X52 joystick) worked fine on my Steam Link + VirtualHere setup, connecting the pedals to VirtualHere always led to error message "Operation not permitted" (-1) on the client, and then the device would no longer show up under the client tree view.
